She Leads Africa is providing an opportunity for young female entrepreneurs, in selected Nigerian cities, to apply to its 2017 accelerator programme.
The 2017 SLA Accelerator is a 3-month program aimed at providing support and funding for Nigeria’s young and smart female entrepreneurs, with a focus in agribusiness, retail/e-commerce, creatives and technology
SLA will support the overall winner with 2 million naira in funding.
Criteria for eligibility include:
Business with at least one female member on the founding team between, the ages of 18 and 35
Business that has received less than $50,000 in funding
Business that is less than 3 years old
Business that has already begun operations and has a live product in the market.
Entrepreneurs based in any of these cities and operating in these sectors can apply: Abuja (Retail/E-commerce), Lagos Mainland (Technology), Lagos Island (Creatives) and Kaduna (Agribusiness)
