In Tanzania, Sahara Sparks 2017 edition brightens the Startup Ecosystem

In Tanzania, Sahara Sparks 2017 has come and gone, but participants cannot forget the boost this yearly event has given to the startup ecosystem in Tanzania, particularly and East Africa, in general. This year’s edition took place from May 26 to May 27, with the  theme Towards Smart Solutions. Organized by Sahara Ventures Consulting Firm, Sahara Sparks is an innovation and technology entrepreneurship event. The 2017 edition was held at the Mlimani City Conference Centre, Dar es Salam, Tanzania with over 700 innovators, entrepreneurs and techies in attendance.

Sahara Sparks helps deepen the conversation on technology and startup entrepreneurship. The event also provides opportunities for startups to engage, pitch and exhibit or launch their products and services.
