Eleven Cameroonian startups to pitch at Seedstars Douala
Eleven seed-stage startups have been selected to pitch at the Seedstars Doula competition holding in Doula, Cameroon on September 29, 2017.
Seedstars World has been visiting different countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America to organize pitches with the aim of identifying and supporting most promising startups in emerging markets and rapidly-growing startup scenes.
The winner of the Cameroonian leg will represent the country at the Seedstars Regional Summit holding in Mozambique on December 14, and the Seedstars Global Summit in Switzerland next year. All the regional winners will compete at the global summit for up to $1 million US in equity investments and other prizes.
The startups selected for Seedstars Doula pitch are Allodoc, a digital health platform; Bridge Africa Ventures, a digital content solutions company; Cloomify, a search engine startup; Drone Africa, a startup generating images via drones; GiftedMom, an ehealth platform; and Guanxi Investment, an online platform connecting entrepreneurs with investors.
Others are iDjangui , a fintech startup; MyExpressTicket, an online ticketing startup; Ratagrab, a fast food delivery platform; VIKI, an artificial intelligence (AI) lead generation startup; and Save Our Agriculture, an agritech startup.
