NESG partners LAN, VC4Africa to hold pitches for entrepreneurs
The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), a platform for public-private sector cooperation on Nigeria‘s economic development, has announced its partnership with Lagos Angel Network (LAN) and Venture Capital for Africa (VC4Africa) to hold pitches for Nigerian entrepreneurs.
The pitches, which will hold on October 10 and 11, 2017 are part of the programmes for the 23rd Nigeria Economic Summit in Abuja. Eight early-stage startups will be selected to pitch in front of venture capitalists and investors.
VC4Africa will receive the applications and shortlist the companies that will pitch to the closed group of investors, according to a statement from NESG. Pitch materials submitted by the applicants will also be available to investors on VC4Africa’s platform.
The eligibility criterion is any ventures applying for the pitches must be in the early customer and revenue stage.
