CcHUB announces 15 startups selected for Make-IT accelerator
Co-Creation Hub (CcHUB), a Nigerian social innovation centre, has announced the names of 15 startups that will participate in the Make-IT accelerator, holding in Lagos, Nigeria next year.
The Make-IT accelerator is an initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) aimed at promoting digital innovation for sustainable and inclusive development in sub-Saharan Africa.
The German International Cooperation (GIZ) will be implementing the initiative on behalf of BMZ in partnership with Nigeria’s CcHUB and Endeva, as well as Kenya’s Gearbox and Nailab. Selected digital startups will participate in a 9-month programme, which will give them access to the right knowledge and mentors, business and financing partners and opportunities for successful business growth.
Participants selected for the Lagos round are 11 startups from Nigeria, including Doctoora e-Health Ltd, DoLessons, Embinix Automation, Insights Africa, Kitovu Technology Company, Mykolo, Placements Africa, PreDiagn, Print Anything, Social Lender, and Slide Safe.
According to CcHUB, the startups would be undergoing a 9 month programme, including the 3-month accelerator starting from January 2018.
